Some Stationery

I made my mom some personalized stationery for her birthday along with some cards then made a little box to hold them all in. Here's the box
Here's the personalized stationery, I made 4 of each of these giving her 12 total, I also lined the inside of the envelopes with the coordinating patterned paper.
And these are the notecards I made. (Sorry one of the pics is sideways, blogger is not cooperating today grrr).

I should get my act together and start making some of the personalized stationery to sell on Etsy, it's so much fun to make.

A Couple Layouts

There was a virtual crop on wisconsin scrappers this past week and I actually did a little bit of scrapping for it. The layout I posted monday was one I did. And these are 2 others I did. They're nothing special & pretty basic but I'm glad to see I'm actually scrapping some pics. I'd really like to do more scrapping, even just the everyday pics.

This first one was from a trip we took to MI, going over the Mackinac Bridge.

This one was for a food challenge, to scrap about a favorite food.

I've got some birthday cards to get made so maybe I'll have those to share yet this week.

Recipe Challenge

It's Tuesday, which means it's time for another recipe challenge from Sketches by Tamara This week's challenge was to use flowers, glitter (stickles) & buttons. All the supplies I used are some of my recent purchases. I used "noteworthy" patterened paper by Making Memories, a "noteworthy" journaling piece, some prima flowers & the "Thank you" stamp is from Close to my Heart. I added stickles to the "Thank you" and the purple floral image. Be sure to head over to Tamara's Blog to see what the other gals on the design team did with this challenge!

Stop on over tomorrow, I'll be posting a couple layouts I did this weekend, yes I said layouts! It's shocking that I've actually done something other than cards :)

The Pink Elephant Challenge

This week's challenge at The Pink Elephant was a sketch. I decided to do a layout instead of a card this week, I know I can't believe it either! LOL I used some more of the Sabrina Making Memories paper (love this line!), my new Martha Stewart punch for the scalloped strips of paper and some Prima say it in crystals

Here's the sketch for this week's challenge.

Stop by tomorrow to see my card for Tamara's recipe challenge.

Recipe Challenge

Today's recipe challenge was to use something you've been hoarding, flowers and bling. I used some MM "noteworthy" paper with some cardstock on my card. The chipboard crown is the item that I've been hoarding, the bling is the stickles on the crown and the "sweet 16", and the flowers are by Prima that I recently picked up. This card is for my niece that is turning 16 next month. You can see what the other Design Team members did over at Sketches by Tamara

All That Glitters Challenge

This week's challenge over at The Pink Elephant is to use glitter, stickles, bling etc. I created this card with a shimmery pink cardstock, embossed it with my textile Cuttlebug embossing folder then added glitter to the embossing. I cut & embossed the butterfly out of acetate using the Cuttlebug butterfly emboss/die then I added some pink & silver jewels as embellishments. Be sure to head on over and check out what the rest of the design team created & please post your creation too if you play along. I found that photos don't really show glitz very well :) Also the pinks on the card match a lot better than in this pic.

Stop by tomorrow to see my card for the Recipe Challenge.

Pink, Black & White Challenge

Our first challenge is up at The Pink Elephant. The first challenge is a color challenge so we had to create a card, layout or altered item using the colors of the new blog, pink, black & white. I was excited about this since I just bought a bunch of paper and embellishments from the Sabrina collection by Making Memories.
For my card I used my SU scallop punch to scallop the white cardstock, pink polka dot and black polkadot paper. I also embossed the white cs with my swiss dots folder using my cuttlebug. The "love" was cut out using the cuttlebug love language die. The flowers & crystals are Prima.

I'd love to see your comments and don't forget to head over to The Pink Elephant to see the other Design Team's work & we'd love to see what you do with the challenge.

Valentine Card

I made a couple cards yesterday, one was for the Recipe Challenge so I will post that on Tuesday. This is the other one I made, just something simple & quick that'll I'll probably give my hubby. I used my cuttlebug for this card with some core'dinations cardstock (love this cardstock by the way).
