Card Sketch #46

Sorry Im not posting much on this blog. Ive been having fun planting flowers and planning my veggie container garden.

I have a graduation party to go to on Saturday so I used the sketch to make my card for that, it's nothing fancy, just a simple card.

Here's the sketch

And here's my card

Have a great week & weekend everybody! I hope to get the rest of my flowers & veggies planted. If you're into gardening you can check out my garden blog www.thepinkpetalgarden.blogspot.com It's nothing fancy, but it's my way of journaling my gardening this year.

Card Sketch #45

I haven't posted in awhile, that's because it's spring and Ive been out working in the flower beds. I just love this time of year, all the blooms are so cheery and I love designing my flower beds each year too. If you want to check out what I've been doing in my yard you can check out my gardening blog at http://www.thepinkpetalgarden.blogspot.com/ I need to make some updates over there too, hopefully that will be soon. I hope to be keeping up on it through the summer so if you want to see how my gardening goes, keep checking back.

Onto the card sketch from tamaras sketch blog. I literally whipped my card up last night after coming in from weeding and planting. I made this card for my brother who just took his journeyman plumber's license test and passed! The paper I used is Paper Loft Well Worn. Ive used this paper a lot, I really like it especially for the masculine cards. The inside of the card says "all your hard work paid off".

Card Sketch #42

Happy May Day! Do you do may baskets? I remember doing them as a child I think in school, it was lots of fun. I don't do them now though. So now that it's May does that mean no more snow? Let's hope so.

Here's another card sketch from Tamara. I loved this sketch and plan on using it a lot down the road. Head on over to Tamara's sketches to check out what the other design team members did with it. I have Tamara's sketches linked in my blog just go to "Sketch Sites I Like" and she is at the bottom "Sketches by Tamara" If you make a card using this sketch I'd love to see it, just post a link to it in my comments. Oh and don't forget to post it in Tamara's comments too! Here's her sketch for this week.

This is the card I made for the sketch. I have so many men in my family I really need to start focusing on doing some masculine cards for my stash. I love how this card turned out and I especially love it because I was able to use some of my niece's wonderful photography for it. She does some awesome work, if you want to check out some of her work I have a link to her blog down towards the bottom of my links under "Family Blogs" hers is "The Rakowski's". Ok, now for my card. Enjoy!
