Wow it's been a busy past few days with the holiday weekend! I hope all of you (in the U.S.) had a fabulous Labor Day weekend! We headed over to MI to visit my in-laws and my dh did a photo shoot for his niece's senior pictures while we were there. It was a quick visit with waaay too much time on the road.
I failed to schedule my challenge posts before I left for the weekend so I am posting them now. This first challenge was for the layout sketch at
Wisconsin Scrappers This week we used one of
Tamara's SketchesI did a wedding layout for my mother in law's album that I was frantically working on finishing before we left to visit. I think I put together about 10 layouts in about 2 weeks to finish the album. Now, why I didn't do that right after our wedding I don't know. Oh well it was an album 4 years in the making :) and she loved it.

And then this week at
www.thepinkelephantchallenge.blogspot.com we had a color challenge. We had to create something using black, red, yellow and white. I was having a hard time with inspiration for my card so I used a sketch over at Card Patterns to create my card. Even with the sketch I had a hard time trying to get my card how I wanted it. It's not exactly what I had in mind but it finally came together.

Be sure to check out what the other design team members did at The Pink Elephant and Wisconsin Scrappers. Thanks for stopping by today!
