The Pink Elephant Challenge #4

This week's scrap challenge at The Pink Elephant is to use paint and chipboard. I used some cardboard for the background of my layout and painted it orange, I found the orange was a little bright so I used some Tim Holtz sage reinker mixed with some perfect pearls and water in a mini mister and sprayed the orange. You really can't see it in the photo but it gives a nice shimmer. The title is the chipboard part of the challenge that I painted with Tim Holtz crackle paint.

Here is a close up of the crackle paint, it wasn't completely dry yet but you can see some of the crackle coming through.

Head on over to The Pink Elephant to see what the rest of the team has done this week.

I know I said I was going to show some cards this week, it'll probably be more towards the weekend, it's been so nice here I have been getting some things down around outside.

What a cool effect with the background, Trudi! It's perfect for a boy layout (which we all did this week...so funny since you mostly see girls... I love it!!!) Your page design and your handsome boy make this layout POP!!!
