Virtual Crop

Every month I join in on a virtual crop at wisconsinscrappers.com This month I got to host the crop! I did some projects (sort of like virtual make and takes) for the gals to do during the crop. Here's some of the little projects we did. This one I saw over at splitcoaststampers.com it's an ornament or could be used to tie onto a package or gift bag.

We made these at scrapfreak.com and I thought I'd share them with the gals at wisconsin scrappers. The pic is my "handsome" nephew, Riley. The paper is Extreme Boy and there is a ribbon on it that says "charmer" These are so easy to make, I could do up dozens of them :)

This one is a little ornament made out of slide mounts, it could also be tied onto a package or gift bag.And this last one is a frappuccino bottle, the gals could alter a bottle or jar for their project. I'll fill it with some flavored hot cocoa as soon as I get to "Back to the Country Store". The coffee mug is a stamp that I cut out then I used liquid applique to make marshmallows, it turned out too cute.

I've Been Busy

I've been getting some projects done, some to sell some as gifts. This first one is another mini coaster album that Im hoping to sell. I used the Extreme Boy Junkitz collection for this one.

This is one of the recipe lunch tins I make, I will also be selling this project. It's not complete yet, I need to add ribbon along the top yet and make the index cards to go inside it. I love this paper and am thinking of making one for myself out of this collection for my kitchen. The collection is French Kitchen by Reminisce.

I joined a "ghost giving goblin" swap, it's like a secret sister. We had to alter a paint can and fill it with goodies and send it to our secret sister for halloween. The one I made is in a previous post, this is the one I got from my secret sister. I love it and there were so many goodies in it.

The back of the can.All the goodies that were in the can.
And these are some frappuccino bottles that I altered to give the kids (Rueben, Malia & Riley) for trick or treating.

Some fun altered things.

Here's a couple things I've done in the past few days. The first one is a 2" binder clip to be used to hold a photo. This was a project during "freakfest" over at scrapfreak.com this last weekend. I think these are super cute and the gals over at http://www.scrapfreak.com/ had some pretty cute ones.

This next project is an altered frappuccino bottle. Im hoping to make these for my nieces and nephews for trick or treating. This is the only bottle I have done so far, I have a few more to get made yet.

This last project is something I just finished. I saw this paper at the store and thought it was just the cutest paper. I've had these coasters for awhile and decided to make a mini album. Im thinking about selling this if I ever get my http://www.etsy.com/ account set up, I may take it to a local store too when I get a chance to talk to the owner. Anyway, it's too cute and I had fun making it.

I actually got some projects done the last two nights. Im teaching a beginning scrapbooking class in November and had to make a two page layout for it. This is what I cam up with with the products I was given.

And I joined a "Gift Giving Goblin" swap where we have to decorate a paint can (or lunch box) and put goodies in it for our secret "goblin". I saw this idea at splitcoaststampers.com, I thought it was so cute so I had to make one. I need to do some finishing touches yet and put the scrapbooking goodies in it then it's all set to send. I hope my secret "goblin" likes it.

This is a recipe box I literally whipped up for a wedding gift. My niece, Melissa, called me Wednesday and said that she had a wedding to go to and wanted to know if I could make one of my recipe boxes. I love making these so I said Id do it and I got it done just in the knick of time. I think it turned out pretty cute. I used Flair Bake Off, Spicy Dots, Hot Off the Grill, and Vegetable Medley along with Bazzill cardstock. The stickers and ribbons are American Traditional Designs. The flower is from a bunch I bought from Walmart for .97
