Some Christmas Cards

I was working on some Christmas cards for a class I have coming up in November and decided to just make a bunch and choose 3 from what I made. These 3 are the ones that aren't going to be done for the class. Lately I have had 2 manufacturers that I just love love love, Hero Arts & Tim Holtz. These cards showcase that.

This first one was a pretty simple one using some Hero Arts stamps. I love the black, red & white combo.
Another Hero Arts stamp, I did the emboss resist technique with this one where the stamp is embossed and then I rubbed the Tim Holtz dye ink over the images. I also used my cuttlebug for this one, my #1 go to tool for cards! The other thing I am loving right now is the wrinkle ribbon (hand dyed seam binding) looooove this stuff!
And lastly is this ornament card, not sure Im digging this one so much. I used Hero Arts again (love the music notes background) some Tim Holtz dye inks for the background and then some crackle rock candy. The ornament is cut out from grungeboard (love), crackled then inked up with some alcohol inks. I got impatient waiting for the paint to dry so I used my heat gun which gave the effect of the deep crackles, I think for this application finer ones would have been better.

That's it for now. I have a birthday party for a special little girl (my great niece) who just turned "1" & Im hoping to get some cute photos of her with some things I made for her so I will share that later on.
